Meet Meg

Meg is a resident of Anne Arundel County and is proud to serve the community with the treatment and support for those experiencing a variety of mental health needs.

Meg attended Towson University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Meg gained experience in the field through working at Sheppard Pratt in the Forbush School where she learned the importance of meeting client’s where they are, taking a non-judgmental approach, and working with an interdisciplinary team. Meg then went on to work as an assessment and discharge coordinator at Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s emergency department while earning her Masters in Social Work at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. After earning her MSW, Meg transitioned to a care coordinator role with Greater Baltimore Medical Center’s Care Management Department. Meg transitioned into providing care in the private practice setting where she has offered outpatient therapy since 2014. Meg earned her LCSW-C in 2016 and is also a Maryland Board of Social Work certified Supervisor.

When Meg is not supporting clients, you can find her enjoying an active lifestyle with her family and friends. Special interests include running, Crossfit, yoga, and spending time outside and on the Severn River.

Meg values kindness and inclusivity. Clients are guaranteed to find a welcoming, comfortable, and supportive experience at Cocco Mental Health and Wellness.
